No, but I have been doing some research on viral marketing and they're recent release was listed as one of the most successful campaigns. They made $8 million with a donation based payment structure. This money is almost pure profit. Not bad for releasing an album without a label.
That wouldn't work for anyone but Radiohead. It's not marketing at all. It's the cult like fan base.
You know what's crazy? I did see it, b/c you made me watch it. Twice. You know what's even more amazing? I actually liked it. Seriously, I really liked it, and that's saying something, b/c I am really NOT a cult fan. At all. Period. End. Of. The. Story.
