The Dark Knight
The most fully realized comic book movie incarnation I have ever witnessed, and as dense a film as I have seen in quite a while.

... but extremely overrated.
I disagree. I thought it held up very well to the hype... and to be honest, it was not a movie I was really looking foward to seeing.
I don't think it was overrated. I think that it fell victim to the hype-machine. However, it still produced a great thrill ride despite the constant praise. Unfortunately you can't go back and watch it with no expectations, but I bet you're tune would change a little bit.
I do agree with a lot you had to say about it, Don. But it still didn't disappoint.
Don, Shut your whore mouth. It had HUGE hype and delivered at every angle. I'm sorry, but I had to tell you how I felt.
Yikes, I don't know guys, it was too plot heavy for me. Hype or no hype, I was not overly impressed. I enjoyed parts of it, but at the end I was ready for it to be over. I enjoyed Iron Man more than Batman.
I'm only kidding. I seemed to enjoy it for what most people felt were it's weaknesses. I loved how dense and demanding the film was. I was happily exhausted by the end.
