Check this Out
Hey, I am not a huge fan of youtube.com, I am not just saying that because I dropped 30k on film school and this site is infested with these ding dongs that think they are filmmakers, but occasionally I miss something in pop culture and I check it out on the site to catch up. With that disclaimer out of the way please go to youtube.com and look up the recent music videos produced for Jimmy Kimmel's late night talk show. Look up up Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Kimmel or Sarah Silverman. Some combination of this celebrity names will reveal some truly inspired television that is as funny as anything since Conan shaved his "Strike Beard"

I saw this the other day while I was at work. Funny stuff. I never thought Ben Afflack was attractive(you in that man sort of way)until I saw him in a glitter shirt.

I'm sure Youtube does have an effect on the aspiring film maker who went the more traditional route. It seems like anyone with a little skill and some viral elements can get a break on Youtube. I think Youtube is a good thing because it exposes people that might not get a chance anywhere else. Now you have aspiring filmmakers who couldn't afford the school finding audiences. Pretty cool stuff. But yeah, if you spent any money on film, it sort of has a trivializing effect on the craft.
